How does Energy Consumption Affect Sectorial Value Addition? An Empirical Evidence from SAARC Economies

چکیده

Understanding the significant role of energy in key sectors is a substantial element for planning and policy an economy. In context global demand scarcity issues, current study attempt to explore Energy Demand at sectorial level SAARC economies by using value addition as starting point. To address objectives study, dynamic relationship among variables, simultaneous panel data models are employed. this context, employed Generalized Method Moment (GMM) estimation technique. The findings demonstrate positive impact on Agriculture Industrial Value added growth while negative Services Added has been found. Similarly, conventional factors such Human capital Physical along with Population Growth contributed positively significantly growth. On basis these empirical suggests that allocation towards sector must be focused achieve potential economic economies.
